Accounting & Bookkeeping Services in Delhi NCR for Ecommerce Sellers and Growing Businesses

Delhi NCR runs on trade. A wholesaler in Chandni Chowk who has just opened a Flipkart storefront. A D2C skincare brand shipping out of Okhla. A SaaS founder in Noida raising a seed round. A garment exporter in Gurugram. Different businesses — but they want the same three things from an accountant, and almost never get all three together: books that are current, GST and TDS filed on time, and a straight answer to the question “what did I actually make last month, after fees?”

Om Accounting has been doing that work since July 2017. We are an accounting, bookkeeping and Virtual CFO firm based in Jaipur, working with businesses across Delhi NCR remotely — which for most of our clients is the point, not a compromise. Plans start at Rs 3,500 a month.

Ecommerce Accounting Services in Delhi NCR

Delhi, being one of India’s biggest ecommerce hubs, powers thousands of sellers across Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Shopify, Paytm, and D2C brands. At Om Accounting, we provide end-to-end solutions designed for ecommerce sellers in Delhi NCR. Our services ensure you stay GST-ready, tax-compliant, and financially organized, while focusing on scaling your online business.

Bookkeeping that stays current, not a year-end scramble

Most businesses that come to us arrive in one of two states: books that stopped being updated four months ago, or a shoebox that gets handed over in July. Both cost the same thing — you spend the year making decisions blind, and then pay again for the reconstruction.

  • Daily to weekly transaction recording, depending on your volume
  • Bank, credit card and wallet reconciliation every month
  • Purchase and expense capture with vendor-wise ledgers
  • Monthly P&L, balance sheet and cash-flow statement, delivered by a fixed date each month
  • Year-end books that go to your auditor without a cleanup phase first

We work in Zoho Books, Tally and QuickBooks. If you are already on one of them we work inside your file; if you are starting fresh we will set it up with a chart of accounts that matches how you actually sell, not a generic template.

Bookkeeping or accounting? Bookkeeping is the record — every sale, every fee, every payment, in the right account, on the right date. Accounting is what you do with that record: the filings, the statements, the tax positions, and the reading of what the numbers actually mean. We do both, and you are not billed twice for the second one.

The tax numbers that decide your ecommerce margin

Most accounting pages will not tell you any of this, so here it is plainly. Current as of August 2026:

  • GST TCS under Section 52 is 0.5% — 0.25% CGST plus 0.25% SGST on intra-state supplies, or 0.5% IGST inter-state. It was 1% until 10 July 2024. Marketplaces deduct it before paying you and report it in GSTR-8 by the 10th of the following month. This is your money: it lands in your electronic cash ledger and you claim it. Sellers who never reconcile GSTR-2A and GSTR-8 against their settlement reports routinely leave it sitting there.
  • Income-tax TDS under Section 194-O is 0.1% of gross sales facilitated through the platform, down from 1% since 1 October 2024. Individuals and HUFs with PAN or Aadhaar on file are exempt below Rs 5 lakh of gross platform sales in a financial year; companies and LLPs are deducted from the first rupee. No PAN on file means 20%.
  • Multi-state GST registration catches Amazon FBA sellers hardest. Stock stored in a fulfilment centre makes that state a place of business, which means a separate GSTIN in every state where your inventory sits. For most Delhi NCR sellers that is Haryana and Uttar Pradesh at minimum, often more, and each registration carries its own monthly returns.

Rates and thresholds move. These are current as of the date on this page, and we tell our clients when they change rather than letting them find out from a notice.

Marketplace and payment reconciliation

A marketplace payout is not your revenue. It is gross sales, minus commission, minus closing and referral fees, minus shipping, minus advertising, minus returns and refunds, minus TCS, plus or minus adjustments nobody explained. If you book the payout as your sale, every number downstream of it is wrong.

Amazon

We pull settlement data from Seller Central and break each cycle back into its parts. FBA and FBM are accounted differently and we treat them differently — FBA carries storage fees, long-term storage charges and removal costs that belong in cost of goods, plus the multi-state registration exposure above. We report profitability per SKU after fees, shipping and ad spend, which is usually the first time a seller finds out which of their best-selling products actually loses money.

Flipkart, Myntra, Meesho and multi-channel

Same treatment, different settlement formats. If you sell on three marketplaces plus your own site, you get one consolidated view rather than three spreadsheets that disagree with each other.

Shopify and D2C

Shopify Payments creates its own reconciliation problems: payout holds, chargebacks, and gateway fees that arrive on a different cycle from the orders that caused them. So do apps — subscription billing, shipping software, review tools, marketing apps — each carrying a fee that quietly eats contribution margin. We track those as their own line, not as one lump. For dropshippers we watch the working-capital cycle closely, because thin margins plus a lag between paying the supplier and being paid by the customer is exactly how a growing store runs out of cash.

Payment gateways and COD

Razorpay, Stripe, Paytm, PayPal and courier COD remittances. After setup we reconcile daily or weekly, so a missed remittance surfaces within days instead of at year end. Chargebacks and disputes are handled as accounting events with a paper trail. And TDS deducted on gateway transactions is accounted properly rather than disappearing into a generic fee line.

What weak reconciliation actually costs: revenue that was never remitted and never chased; errors that compound straight into the GST return; hours every month arguing with spreadsheets; and no reliable read on whether the business is making money.

Virtual CFO for Delhi founders

Some businesses need a bookkeeper. Some need someone sitting across the table when the numbers actually matter. A full-time CFO in Delhi NCR is a senior salary plus bonus plus benefits — a cost that only starts making sense well past the stage most of our clients are at.

Virtual CFO with us is scoped to what you need, and the intensity moves with it: a few hours a month for a standing review, several days a month during a fundraise or a turnaround.

  • Cash-flow and working-capital planning — the runway question, answered with your real numbers
  • Financial models and the investor data room: unit economics, cohorts, pitch financials, and the diligence that follows a term sheet
  • Pricing and margin analysis by channel and by SKU
  • Budgets, variance reviews, and the two or three KPIs that actually move your business
  • Internal controls and risk — who approves what, who can move money, and where the gaps are
  • Board and investor reporting on a fixed schedule

We also work with family-owned businesses going through a generational handover, and with foreign companies that need an Indian entity kept compliant without hiring a local finance team.

Where we work across Delhi NCR

  • Central Delhi — Connaught Place, Karol Bagh, Chandni Chowk
  • South Delhi — Saket, Lajpat Nagar, Nehru Place, Greater Kailash
  • North Delhi — Pitampura, Rohini

  • East Delhi — Laxmi Nagar, Preet Vihar

To be straight about it: we do not have an office in Delhi. Our offices are in Jaipur and we serve Delhi NCR clients remotely — cloud books, a shared document folder, scheduled calls, and a named person who knows your file rather than whoever picks up the phone. In practice almost none of our Delhi clients have needed us physically in the room. If you would like to meet in person you are welcome at either Jaipur office, and we do travel for larger engagements.

Our Process: How We Make Accounting Simple

1. Initial Consultation

We begin with a free, no-obligation meeting to understand your business, your goals, and your specific financial needs. This helps us recommend the perfect service package for you.

2. Seamless Onboarding & Integration

Once you’re ready to proceed, our team handles all the technical aspects of onboarding. We securely integrate your financial data into our systems and get everything set up for a smooth transition.

3. Ongoing Support & Reporting

We take over the day-to-day accounting and compliance tasks. You receive regular reports and access to a real-time dashboard, so you always know where your business stands financially. We are always just a call or email away for any questions.

You do not need to be technical for any of this. Most clients drop documents into a shared cloud folder or simply forward invoices by email — bank statements, purchase invoices and expense bills are usually all we need on an ongoing basis. Everything is held on encrypted cloud platforms, with access limited to the people actually working on your file. Most clients are live within a few days of the first call; if there is a backlog to clean up first, we scope it and tell you the timeline before you commit.

Do you handle GST registration and filing in Delhi?

What’s the difference between an accountant and a Chartered Accountant (CA)?

A Chartered Accountant (CA) is a highly qualified professional with specialized training in auditing, tax, and finance. While an accountant can handle basic bookkeeping, a CA provides strategic financial advice, tax planning, and ensures statutory compliance.

Can you help with my business’s Income Tax Return (ITR) filing?

Yes, we prepare and file both your business’s and your personal Income Tax Returns, ensuring all deductions and exemptions are claimed to minimize your tax liability and ensure a smooth filing process.

Is this service suitable for a freelance professional?

Absolutely. Our services are ideal for freelancers and consultants who need help managing their financial records, invoicing, and tax compliance without the hassle of doing it themselves.

Do you have an office in Delhi?

No. Our offices are in Jaipur and we work with Delhi NCR clients remotely. Everything runs on cloud accounting, a shared document folder and scheduled calls, with a named person handling your file. You are welcome at either Jaipur office if you would like to meet in person.

How do you handle GST and TCS for Amazon sellers?

TCS under Section 52 is currently 0.5 percent and marketplaces deduct it before they pay you. We reconcile what was deducted against your settlement reports and GSTR-8, make sure the credit reaches your electronic cash ledger, and file GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B for every GSTIN you hold.

Do I need GST registration in more than one state for FBA?

If your stock is held in an Amazon fulfilment centre, that state counts as a place of business and needs its own GSTIN. For most Delhi NCR sellers that means Haryana and Uttar Pradesh at minimum. We handle the registrations and the ongoing returns for each.

Can you reconcile my Amazon settlement reports?

Yes, and it is the single most common piece of work we do. We break each settlement into gross sales, commission, referral and closing fees, shipping, advertising, refunds, TCS and adjustments, so your books show real revenue rather than a net payout.

How do you track inventory and COGS for FBA and FBM sellers?

Separately, because they behave differently. FBA adds storage fees, long-term storage charges and removal costs into landed cost; FBM keeps fulfilment in your own hands. Both roll up into SKU-level profitability after all fees and ad spend.

Can you handle Shopify Payments, app fees and chargebacks?

Yes. Payout holds, chargebacks and gateway fees are reconciled against the orders that caused them, and third-party app fees are tracked as their own line so you can see what they are costing your margin.

Which payment gateways do you work with, and what if I use several?

Razorpay, Stripe, Paytm, PayPal and courier COD remittances, among others. Multiple gateways are normal. We reconcile each one separately and then consolidate, so you get one view rather than four.

How often do you reconcile?

After the initial setup, daily or weekly depending on your volume. That is what makes a missed remittance or a wrong settlement visible within days instead of at year end.

What does a Virtual CFO engagement involve, and how much time?

It scales with what you need: a few hours a month for a standing financial review, several days a month during a fundraise, a turnaround or a diligence process. It covers cash flow and working capital, financial models, pricing and margin analysis, internal controls, and board or investor reporting.
