The role is responsible for Business finance function for all the International market of Alkem, and to provide
timely and accurate management information to drive decision making for business growth.
1. MIS :
Preparation of monthly P&L for all international market.
Preparation of quarterly and yearly forecast in discussion with the subsidiaries.
Co-coordinating with subsidiaries for all the information related to management reporting and
Resolving the queries of subsidiaries with respect to P&L.
2. Financial Planning and Analysis :
Monthly Preparation of gross margin analysis for all the major markets.
Analyzing product wise gross margin and providing insight to the management.
Monthly tracking of sales movement (three levers of growth- price, volume and New Product)
for all major international market.
Monthly preparation of sales Bridge to compare year on year and month on month movement.
Monthly preparation of EBITDA Bridge to compare year on year and month on month
movement for all the expense item of P&L.
Providing data to the statutory auditor for gross margin movement.
3. Budgeting and Long term business Plan :
Prepare the template for budgeting.
Partner with Sales & Marketing team in filling the budget template.
Collaborate with subsidiary and sales & marketing team for completion and consolidation of
Budgets for all international markets.
Ensure the submission of consolidated Annual budgets to Management capturing all
Assist the reporting manager in discussing the budget with sales and marketing team.
Attend annual budget meeting along with reporting manager with top management of the
4. Working Capital Management :
Monitoring of cash and bank balances at all the international subsidiaries and submitting
fortnightly report to the management.
Monthly Preparation of debtors ageing and provisions.
Co-coordinating with subsidiaries for payment of outstanding of parent company for supply of
goods from India
Monthly Preparation of inventory ageing and analyzing the slow moving inventory at
Sending alert to subsidiaries on slow moving and inventories expiring in 6-9 months so that
the same can be liquidated on priority.
5. Product Costing :
To co-ordinate with the costing team for costing of new products introduced in international
Assist the sales and marketing team in deciding the NRV of the product by providing detailed
break up of cost of each SKU.
6. Transfer Pricing :
Quarterly review of SKU wise transfer price for all international subsidiaries to ensure
benchmark operating profit margin % at subsidiaries as per Transfer Pricing Rules.
Calculation of Debit / Credit Note for international subsidiaries for True up and True Down at
subsidiaries as per benchmark operating profit margin %.
Providing data to the consultants for transfer pricing audit.
7. Market Visit :
Occasional visit to subsidiaries to understand the international market
Meeting warehousing agent, statutory, internal auditors, collection agents at the subsidiaries
Meeting doctors, chemist and distributors in branded market
Internal and external interfaces
Various Stakeholders within the following teams: Finance, Operations, sales and marketing both in corporate
office and in International locations
Statutory auditors, internal auditors and Transfer pricing consultants….
