Job Description :-
Preparation of Cost Plans based on target cost underwritten for a project and working closely with the design team in value engineering, analytics and avenues for design improvement at concept stage.
Validation of Cost Estimates periodically to monitor and control cost.
Vetting of tender bill of quantities.
To do Rate Analysis and material take offs, as and when required, with or without the use of QS.
Provide required assistance to Contracting / Procurement team.
Work out new methods on value engineering ideas that will save cost & time.
To bring in innovative methods for cost estimation and cost monitoring.
Monitoring budgets as per work progress. Identifying & analyzing variance. Give suggestions / corrective action for keeping cost within budget.
To develop and scale up an independent Quantity Surveying process
Provide monthly detailed financial reports to the Head of the department with regard to expenditure against budgets and programmes together with recommendations of actions required to correct anomalies….
