The candidate will be part of the Bangalore EMEA Management Reporting work stream based out of Bangalore & will be required to work closely with the UK Central team members, Local Brand/Unit finance Teams:

The candidate will lead the UK market support team and help markets with monthly close, BPC submissions and reporting.

Develop & maintain effective partnership with UK Central team and Local Brand/Units finance teams across the market.
Provide necessary guidance and support to local brands/units w.r.t. submissions of financials to UK central team / DAN Group.
Meeting agreed Service Level Agreements (SLA) on Turn-Around-Time (TAT), accuracy and other scheduled & unscheduled deliverables.
Deliver timely and error-free reports and dashboards to the stakeholders.
Develop a sound understanding of DAN Group policies to support Local Brands/Units
Deliver consistent & sustainable work model and key analytics in the area of P&L and Balance sheet.
Monitoring & providing solutions on the Forecast & Budget reporting and data modelling to analyse the movements.
Be a part of continuous improvement initiatives (CII) by identifying process lapses, offering best possible solution and implementing the same.
Supports ad-hoc requests and lead Controllership & Automation Projects (as & when identified).
Lead team in managing all the tactical & operational plans for the UK Financial Reporting.
Chalk out a plan for issue resolution with approximate time & skill estimate, cost-benefit analysis & to benchmark against estimates.
Lead team to achieve long-term finance visions & goals set under the DAN values
Effectively manage escalations, develop back-up plan and focus on cross-training across the team
Chartered Accountant with a minimum of 2 years of experience in financial analysis, planning & reporting roles Should be effective at planning and must have a strong grasp of every functional area of the organization, its internal and external drivers, resources required to meet expectations, typical and atypical risks, and marketplace dynamics
Effective communicator – deal diplomatically with all internal clients at all levels
Have high Service Levels by being responsive.
Prior experience with People management is preferable
Exposure to different improvement frameworks, such as Six Sigma / Lean and Prior experience of working in Shared Service team is preferable
Receptive to escalations and suggestions on areas of improvements
